Roadblock Encounter

Hey everyone,
Have you ever had an idea that seemed really great at the time... and then reality set in, leaving you to wonder what the heck you were thinking?
Well, that's what's happened to me. Reality, that is. I spent a lot of time over the last several months reading up on all of our past presidents, collecting tidbits of interesting information and images, and for some reason, thought it would be a breeze to write 44 blogs before the November 8th election.
Boy, was I wrong.
Not because the writing is so hard, but because it just hit me (granted, a little late) that I'm going to be away from home for nearly four months, and there seems to be a daunting list of hundreds of details -- both big and small -- that need to be handled before heading out. Not to mention making the 2,315 mile road trip from CA to MI, and the very important task of memorizing my lines, while getting settled in a new place before rehearsals begin.
Bottom line – no one is more disappointed than I am, but my presidential musings are going to have to be postponed for a while. Not sure how long yet; I'll have to wait and see what my schedule looks like after "Morning After Grace" starts in late September.
Paige will make occasional posts to Facebook after I arrive in Chelsea to keep everyone up to date on what's happening with the play. I know some of you plan to come (just NOT on opening night, remember?) and I look forward to seeing you there.
Thanks for your understanding about the BLOGs. Best laid plans, and all that. :(
Randy
